Founded by two knitwear designers and the owner of a spinning mill, the easy-to-use site allows users to choose from four types of ecofriendly yarns (plump, chunky Puffin is ideal for cozy sweaters; firm, four-ply Lark shows off stitch patterns), available by the skein (you might call them coils). Knitting patterns can be dowloaded for USD $5-$6.
What's great about Quince & Co., is they also provides the finished measurements, needle size, gauge (number of stitches per inch), and amount of yarn needed for each design so any knitwit can follow along.
